Male latex condoms are critical for sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention and family planning. This study investigated the quality of multiple condom brands available in the Dominican Republic. The data show that several brands had a range of product quality defects that could increase the risk to users for STIs or unwanted pregnancies. This research emphasizes the need for continued vigilance to increase regulatory and market surveillance efforts that protect public health interests.
