FHI 360’s Asia Pacific Hub, located in Bangkok, Thailand, has unparalleled experience in managing large, regional and country programs that require quick, effective responses from a broad range of subject matter experts. It provides support to 13 country offices throughout the Asia Pacific region, with technical, program, financial, contractual, administrative and logistical staff who implement programs that are compliant and delivered on time. FHI 360 manages complex projects that require close collaboration with multiple funders, consortium members and various cooperating country entities.
Initially funded through the regional HIV programming of USAID, the Asia Pacific Hub has grown to include multiple sponsors, including governments, foundations and commercial organizations working in the areas of HIV, tuberculosis (TB), neglected tropical diseases, malaria, avian and pandemic influenza, emerging infectious diseases, medical waste management, and diagnostic and research laboratory work. For example, FHI 360’s Laboratory Sciences Division is a leading provider of laboratory support activities across the region, focusing on assessment, technical assistance, training and accreditation services. Additionally, the Asia Pacific Hub hosts Design Lab Bangkok, the satellite to FHI 360’s award-winning, full-service design studio.
Staff from the Asia Pacific Hub have expertise in areas including education, environment, social marketing and behavior change communication, health, clinical research and laboratory strengthening.
