2007 – 2011 – With funding from the United Nations Population Fund and in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, FHI 360 provided technical assistance to nine mobile voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) centers, 11 fixed VCT centers and seven sexually transmitted infection clinics. During the course of this project, FHI 360 developed a national training-of-trainers manual to train national VCT care providers in standardized HIV/AIDS counseling techniques.
