2012 — In creating a series of infographics for the Communities Putting Prevention to Work program of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), FHI 360 conducted an environmental scan of existing healthy-living infographics, identified areas that had not yet been addressed and worked closely with the CDC research team to identify approved and compelling data for each infographic. Our design team worked closely with the client to create graphics that were informative, explanatory and effective.
The infographics were promoted through a national earned, online influencer campaign, spurring the viral distribution of the infographics. Multiple high-value placements of the infographics online resulted in more than 35 million unique impressions in under 10 weeks and an increase of 602% in actual social networking site conversions.
