2008 — The PROGRESS project, with the goal of expanding the access to contraceptive methods using existing high-impact practices, supported the distribution of checklists that allow providers to perform the essential screening process when providing contraceptives to clients. Several checklists shown to be effective have been translated into Hindi for wider use in India. The method eligibility checklists determine whether a client may safely and effectively use her contraceptive method of choice. The pregnancy checklist can be used to rule out pregnancy.
