March 2015 — The primary objective of the ART Cascade Completion Study was to assess levels of viral load suppression among people living with HIV (PLHIV) receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART). It provides baseline measurement for the PEPFAR monitoring, evaluation and reporting (MER) indicator on viral load suppression (the third target of the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goal). The study assessed the proportion of HIV-infected patients in Vietnam currently enrolled in care who have viral suppression after at least one year of ART.
