April 2011 — In early 2008, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) embarked on an ambitious initiative to enhance the scope and capacity of Career Launch,™ a program designed to promote career preparedness among youth ages 13–18. Developed in partnership with Gap Foundation, Career Launch is a comprehensive program that introduces young people to the world of work by providing the critical hard and soft skills they will need to find and keep jobs.
