October 2014 — This tool, developed by the SMART TA project, provides guidance on the implementation of enhanced outreach approaches in HIV interventions in Vietnam. The enhanced outreach approach is a series of complementary and mutually reinforcing community-based HIV interventions that help government, civil society organizations and community groups reach, test, treat and retain key populations in the HIV service system, using available resources. The SMART TA project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and implemented by FHI 360.
