Civic Engagement in Democratic Governance: Resource Book

May 2019 — The importance and role of civil society in facilitating meaningful participation of the people of Nepal in decisions that affect their lives is critical. This resource book is intended to foster civic engagement; encourage government to be more accountable, effective and efficient; make citizens and government aware of rights, duties and responsibilities; and develop a collaboration between government, citizens and civil society. It will be useful in trainings by various federal, provincial and local governments.
