2011 — Under the ASHA project (2006–2011), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, FHI 360 and its implementing partners worked to contain and mitigate the effects of HIV/AIDS through the increased use of HIV prevention and care services for the most at-risk populations. Across Nepal, ASHA supported 33 integrated health service (IHS) centers, provided HIV testing and post-test counseling, and conducted trainings on HIV-related prevention, capacity building and stigma and discrimination.
