2009 — The Analysis and Advocacy (A2) project aimed at improving responses to HIV in Asia. Its primary objective was to build sustainable in-country capacity to develop a clear understanding of the local HIV/AIDS epidemic and to translate that understanding into effective national policies and appropriately targeted and resourced programs. In short, it synthesized existing data to identify the actions needed to expand and strengthen responses to HIV, leading to more effective and more efficient responses.
