Connected and Engaged: Nurturing Instructional Leadership During Remote and Hybrid Learning

September 2020 — This online tool helps education leaders in state, district or intermediary schools create the organizational conditions, culture and climate to ensure student success in a remote or hybrid secondary school learning environment. Through surveys and focus groups, we collected data from middle and high school educators across the United States and organized findings into five categories: structures and systems, teaching and learning, social-emotional learning, professional development and family engagement. Each section contains unique subsections, but all sections include a hybrid learning subsection as a strategy that is likely to outlive the pandemic.
