As part of the USAID LEAD TB project’s consortium, FHI 360 is supporting Myanmar’s progress in ending the country’s tuberculosis (TB) epidemic by 2035. We are providing technical assistance to local networks and our consortium partners, including Future Light, the Myanmar Anti-Tuberculosis Association, the Phoenix Association and Pyi Gyi Khin, to strengthen their capacity to address TB through community-led services and monitoring. By supporting communities to lead these efforts, we’re working to ensure that those closest to the problem are formulating and implementing the solution.
To ensure sustainable change, we’re also aiming to expand the national network of local and nongovernment organizations in Myanmar to engage in the TB and HIV response. Through USAID LEAD TB, FHI 360 is supporting local partners to eradicate TB in Myanmar and put healthy lives back into reach.
