Durham, N.C. – FHI 360 has named Daniel Messer to the newly created position of chief digital and information technology transformation officer (CDxO).
“Daniel knows the technology needs of the sector, our partners and our mission,” says Dr. Tessie San Martin, chief executive officer (CEO) of FHI 360. “He will lead FHI 360’s digital and information technology experts as we address immediate needs while setting a vision for digital transformation.”
Messer brings more than 25 years’ experience driving technical innovations and implementing digital health systems, most recently with Population Services International (PSI), where he was vice president and chief information officer.
“From exploring the potentials of artificial intelligence and digital health to using advanced data analysis to showcase FHI 360’s global impact, I’m excited to apply my passion and the best tools at our disposal,” Messer says. “FHI 360’s mission and the dedication of its people demand technology that functions seamlessly across our global operations and uses the full potential of all available data for transparent decision-making.”
Messer was co-founder and chair of NonProfit Organizations Knowledge Initiative (NPOKI) and holds a master’s degree from Freie Universität Berlin.
