Summer offers a rich opportunity to provide engaging educational experiences for all students. FHI 360 helps districts and state departments of education design summer learning programs that connect to the school year and use our four pillars of summer learning: equity, whole child development, partnerships, and academic quality
We equip more than 100 school districts with resources to design transformational, evidence-based summer programs for over 2 million students at all grade levels — especially those from historically marginalized communities. We also are working with external researchers to study and inform the field of summer learning.
We provide:
- Online tools and resources to help districts strengthen district communications, multilingual learning, and sustainable summer programming.
- Job-embedded coaching, whole-network professional development, and access to small learning communities for districts.
- Coaching to help state education agencies improve conditions for high-quality summer learning at the state level.
