FHI 360’s comprehensive approach to fighting HIV and AIDS is driven by innovative research, aggregated evidence and a long track record of engaging directly with communities around the world most impacted by the epidemic.
From the earliest years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, FHI 360 has partnered with funders, health ministries and nongovernmental organizations to pioneer HIV research, prevention and treatment programs around the world. Our work has focused on access to HIV testing, prevention, care and treatment services; capacity building in resource-limited settings; cutting-edge HIV prevention research; and improved standards of HIV prevention and care.
Our experts collaborate on research dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV. We also address the many interrelated factors that drive the epidemic. Social structures, gender inequality, social and behavioral change, and the state of health and education systems all play key roles.
