MCC News features clients’ stories, providers’ perspectives, lessons learned, research updates and news about Kenya’s efforts to improve access to male circumcision for HIV prevention.
The Male Circumcision Consortium (MCC) produced this electronic newsletter from December 2008 to August 2014 for its fellow partners in the voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) program of the Government of Kenya and for others interested in male circumcision and HIV prevention.
Each issue begins with a news or feature article about some aspect of the VMMC program. The lead article is followed by news briefs, links to media coverage of male circumcision and a list of resources on male circumcision for HIV prevention. After October 2012, MCC News moved from a monthly to a periodic schedule.
