Improving the Lives of Men and Women in the Senegalese Artisanal Fishery Value Chain

February 2022 — This report describes the key lessons learned from the implementation of the Wireless Solutions for Fisheries in Senegal (WISE) project. The takeaways are drawn from an assessment of the development and implementation of WISE, conducted by FHI 360 and MANAUS, a minority, women-owned research and consulting firm, from September 2021 to February 2022. The assessment is based on primary data from 205 fishermen and fish processors and a document review of 12 key informant interviews. The insights from this assessment can be used to develop similar solutions in other countries.
