June 2012 — This publication reports on the methods and findings of a study on HIV vulnerability and risk among adult women in South Africa. Conducted by the Communication for Change (C-Change) project and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, the study is part of a larger study (which includes Ethiopia and Namibia as well as South Africa) intended to inform strategic responses for addressing HIV prevention through social and behavior change communication (SBCC) among adult women in the region.
