June 2018 — This fact sheet presents methodologies and tools that FHI 360 has developed in working with civil society actors on the front lines of efforts to better understand, prevent and counter violent extremism in their countries and communities. The starting point for FHI 360 is to engage young people and their communities, including civil society organizations, local officials and citizens, to identify and mitigate local drivers and to strengthen resilience to the pull of violent extremism.
