February 2022 — As COVID-19 vaccine availability improves in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), defining and implementing strategies to reach the most vulnerable populations, including people living with HIV (PLHIV) and key populations (KPs), needs to be a priority. Ensuring COVID-19 Vaccination for People Living with HIV and Key Populations: A Technical Guide will help program personnel ensure adequate COVID-19 vaccination coverage among those most vulnerable to and living with HIV. Strategies are based on and adapted from best practices and promising innovations from decades of experience implementing HIV programs with and for PLHIV and KPs.
