These fact sheets provide an overview of the 2021 Civil Society Organization Sustainability Index (CSOSI) regional reports for Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia, Mexico, the Middle East and North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa. The CSOSI is a comprehensive assessment of the capacity of the civil society sector to serve as both a short-term partner in implementing development solutions and a long-term actor in ensuring development outcomes are sustained. The CSOSI reports also describe advances and setbacks in seven dimensions affecting the sustainability of the civil society sector in the regions.
