In collaboration with three partners in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal provinces in South Africa, the Capacity Development and Support program implemented the Community Gender-Based Violence and HIV Prevention Initiative for Adolescent Girls and Young Women. The project is part of the DREAMS initiative, which is being implemented in 10 African countries to help adolescent girls and young women become Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe. This resource details the success stories of adolescents and young women who participated in an evidence-based learning approach that took them through a series of topics, including gender-based violence, gender, sexuality, HIV, communication and relationship skills.
