This publication summarizes the past 20 years, with specific information on BTE sites and their implementation history. Over these years, more than 60 BTE sites have been established in communities throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States. Today, four new programs start each year, with more than twelve programs operating at any given time.
