Achieving Financial Wellness and Freedom: GWUL CFI 2022 Evaluation Report

August 2023 — This report presents the results of an evaluation FHI 360 conducted in 2022 of the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) of the Greater Washington Urban League (GWUL).

CFI’s clients start by working to understand the root cause of their challenges with money and then receive financial coaching, engage in small group therapy and participate in empowerment labs.

This report provides an overview of CFI’s activities, detailed narratives of clients’ experiences, and self-reported measures of CFI’s impact.
