2014 — Aastha, a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and implemented by FHI 360, focuses on prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections among high-risk groups of women, men and transgender persons in Mumbai and Thane, India. The project has been recognized for its quality and community engagement approach. This resource describes best practices in the delivery and management of clinical services for sex workers. In addition, this publication examines strategies for universal access to HIV services and provides guidance on prioritizing those strategies.
