The Tomorrow’s Leaders Study Abroad Program provides oversight, monitoring and support to the U.S.-based study-abroad portion of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate Leadership Program (TL), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC). Under this award, FHI 360 works to ensure a positive, safe and transformational experience for the undergraduate students who come to U.S. universities for their semester abroad. Our efforts maximize participant learning outcomes, increase workforce readiness and enable participants to serve as effective change agents upon return to their home communities.
FHI 360 provides academic training, supports the development of leadership skills and builds the spirit of civic engagement and volunteerism among outstanding college students from the Middle East and North Africa region to become community, business and national leaders in their near future.
FHI 360’s coordinated approach includes the oversight, monitoring and support to the students; analyzing, assessing and making recommendations for improvements to the study-abroad component of the TL program; and liaising with TL implementers in the United States and the Middle East and North Africa region to ensure that logistics are coordinated seamlessly before, during and after each student’s semester of study.
