Useetha Rhodes leads and manages FHI 360’s human resources team, which is responsible for supporting more than 4,000 FHI 360 employees globally, including expatriates and host-country national staff.
Rhodes collaborates with leaders across the organization to develop and execute a global human resource strategy that supports FHI 360’s business plan and strategic direction, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational development, succession planning, total rewards, and human resource technology, policies, and compliance. She provides global strategic leadership by articulating human resources needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.
Rhodes has held several other positions within the organization, including the role of deputy to the previous chief human resources officer, director of human resources partners, associate director of human resources, human resources manager and human resources generalist. She has traveled to and supported human resources functions in several of the countries where we work.
Rhodes, a native of Durham, North Carolina, is a senior certified professional in human resources and holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science, both from North Carolina Central University.
