Susan Voskuil is responsible for leading and managing the FHI 360 contracts department, the group that has primary responsibility for contract negotiation and administration for the organization’s broad portfolio of projects and funding agencies.
Voskuil is a contracts and project management professional with 23 years of experience in the international development field, working at nongovernmental organizations. She provides contractual, financial and operational management and administration on complex international projects, working closely with extended project teams across global operations. She is also a manager and team leader who is experienced in forming, leading and supervising operational and enterprise service groups that support business development and project implementation, as well as in leading and facilitating cross-functional, process improvement teams.
Before joining FHI 360, Voskuil worked at RTI International in their International Development Group, most recently as director of project operations. In this position, she provided contractual, financial and operational management and administration of the group’s overseas projects and contracts in developing countries. Her experience included extensive involvement in proposing and implementing contracts for multiple clients, including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, with deep knowledge of the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Voskuil has a bachelor’s degree in English from Covenant College and a master’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
