FHI 360 welcomes the release of Mr. Joseph Figueira Martin from detention in the Central African Republic.
Mr. Martin’s return home is a deeply meaningful moment for his family, friends, colleagues and all who have supported him throughout this difficult period.

Mr. Martin, a consultant for FHI 360, was detained in Bangui on May 26, 2024, while supporting the design of a development program focused on reducing poverty and expanding economic opportunity.
