Durham, N.C. – FHI 360 has been awarded a contract by USAID for the Qualifying, Testing, Issuing (QTI) project within the Next Generation Global Health Supply Chain (NextGen) suite of programs.
FHI 360 will help ensure that health commodities procured in support of global health programs under NextGen, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, and vector control materials, are safe, effective and of acceptable quality for clients.
“An ambitious global health agenda requires meticulous care for every product underpinning it,” says Steven Hamel, director of product quality and compliance at FHI 360. “Our comprehensive quality assurance program will ensure the availability of quality-assured health commodities to support USAID’s global health responses and achieve better health outcomes for clients.”
