FHI 360 programs in Peru aim to increase citizen involvement in both education and democracy. Our experts have introduced the active schools methodology — a student-centered approach to learning that encourages parent and community engagement — to more than 275 schools in three regions of Peru. Through Democracia Activa – Perú, FHI 360 experts worked with local partners to increase civic participation and engage young people in the democratic process.
