FHI 360’s activities in Haiti advance the government’s national commitment to reducing food insecurity, particularly among mothers and children and those with chronic infections, such as HIV and tuberculosis. To support the objectives outlined in Haiti’s National Nutrition Policy, our experts design creative social and behavior change communication strategies that target adults and adolescents vulnerable to malnutrition with messages to improve nutritional practices. We also provide technical support that promotes the integration of nutrition assessment, counseling and support into HIV programming and strengthens national surveillance systems.
