Section 1 - STDs: An Overview

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

This presentation is part of an ongoing series of FHI training modules. The purpose of this presentation is to familiarize providers of family planning and maternal and child health (FP/MCH) with basic concepts about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). These providers, as well as the broader public health community, increasingly are concerned about the prevention and management of STDs, especially due to the AIDS epidemic.
