One-Year Survey Shows Improvements in Dietary Diversity for Pregnant Women

September 2015 — A SHIKHA project household survey evaluating one year of implementation of a unique maternal nutrition component —one of five core interventions — has shown that the component has had a positive effect within a short time. So far, the biggest impact has been for pregnant women with low levels of education and low socioeconomic status. This fact sheet details the results of the survey.
