Mobile Media Campaign Reaches Remote Villages to Promote Nutrition

September 2015 — This fact sheet outlines the mobile media campaign by the SHIKHA project in rural Bangladesh. The award-winning campaign was designed to reach communities with limited access to electricity to improve breastfeeding and complementary feeding of infants and young children and promote healthier maternal diets. Teams traveled to villages with televisions and generators to present videos and engage the community in lively, interactive discussions.
