EQUIP2 Lessons Learned Synthesis
2012 — The Educational Quality Improvement Program 2 (EQUIP2), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, conducted a series of studies to increase and share knowledge about how projects are designed, implemented and evaluated. The series focused on who was involved, what contexts existed and what approaches enabled or constrained project implementation in an increasingly ministry-led environment. This paper introduces the complete set of studies, including the methodology used to gather and analyze information. It provides a summary overview of the main lessons learned for leadership, project design, implementation and evaluation.
