Economic Participation and the Environment (EPE) Fact Sheet
August 2022 — FHI 360’s Economic Participation and the Environment (EPE) team is a leader in post-shock inclusive economic recovery. FHI 360’s approach to economic participation addresses both supply and demand, building on the strengths and legacy of our nearly 30 years in advancing livelihoods, financial inclusion and skills building, especially among youth, women and other marginalized populations — while focusing on addressing climate change across all our work. This approach empowers the individual as an economic actor while working to ensure supportive systems and institutions that promote a win-win value proposition with the private sector.
This fact sheet outlines EPE’s approach to three collaborating practice areas: (1) work, youth and skills; (2) inclusion; and (3) environment and climate change. The fact sheet also includes descriptions of selected projects.
