Communicating about Microbicides with Women in Mind (storyboards and radio spots) (English, Swahili)

August 2014 — The Communicating about Microbicides with Women in Mind project developed two radio spots and animated TV storyboards in English and Swahili for communicating about potential vaginal microbicide gel use in Kenya. Late Date positions microbicides primarily as an HIV prevention product, while Bridal Shower positions microbicides as a product that can increase intimacy and pleasure within a stable relationship. The storyboards and radio spots were not launched as part of a campaign; instead, they offer evidence-based suggestions for future campaigns should microbicides be proven effective.
