This analysis of peer-reviewed and gray literature describing 42 adolescent and youth reproductive health interventions from 2000 to 2017 highlights the factors that facilitated or inhibited scale-up in low- and middle-income countries. The results demonstrate that scaling up multifaceted normative change interventions is possible but not well documented. The global adolescent and youth reproductive health community should prioritize documentation of scale-up processes and measurement to build evidence and inform future programming.
