This study assessed gender equity in mass drug administration for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The research findings indicate that reporting of gender-disaggregated data in NTD programs is feasible and achievable, and that NTD programs have consistently achieved at least equal levels of treatment coverage for women as for men. Achieving disease elimination will require a better understanding of gendered barriers to coverage.
