FHI 360’s PROGRESS project convened technical leadership meetings to provide information on its activities, working with partners to provide leadership within the family planning field. As it approached the end of its five-year award, PROGRESS convened a series of topic-specific technical meetings, listed below, in Washington, DC. The project also took advantage of existing international and regional meetings in developing countries to share information and build the capacity of others to continue the work that was conducted under PROGRESS.
- Mobile technology and family planning (May 2013)
- Long-acting and permanent methods (February 2013)
- Postpartum family planning (July 2012)
- Institutionalizing evidence-based practices (March 2012)
PROGRESS (Program Research for Strengthening Services) was a five-year project awarded to FHI 360 by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in June 2008. The project sought to improve access to family planning among underserved populations by providing global technical leadership and working in selected countries.
