The Niger Delta AIDS Response (NiDAR Plus) project focuses on strengthening health systems at the community and primary care levels in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region. Building on the highly successful NiDAR project that focused on providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS counseling, care and treatment, the extended project provides an integrated combination of health care services that address TB, malaria, reproductive health, and maternal, neonatal and child health. The project also seeks to improve public and private sector collaboration on health issues and contribute towards achievement of Millennium Development Goals.
