FHI 360’s Malaria Action Program for States (MAPS) aims to increase the quality, access and uptake of malaria control interventions in Nigeria. The project implements and scales up proven malaria control methods while working to strengthen program management at the national, state and local levels. FHI 360 is collaborating with Health Partners International and the Malaria Consortium to help reduce malaria-associated mortality by 50 percent by 2015, as compared to 2010 mortality levels. MAPS conducts interventions in the Nigerian states of Benue, Cross River, Ebonyi, Kogi, Nasarawa, Oyo and Zamfara.
