Interagency Youth Working Group
The Interagency Youth Working Group (IYWG), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, provides global technical leadership to advance evidence-based programs and research on sexual and reproductive health among people ages 10–24 in developing countries.
FHI 360 supports IYWG in the following ways:
- Managing the global dissemination of information on research and programs on youth sexual and reproductive health
- Promoting strategies that move promising research findings and best practices into programs and policies
- Encouraging greater focus on youth within programs and research
FHI 360 also develops the content for the IYWG website and blog; produces a bimonthly electronic synthesis of new youth-related research and resources (Youth InfoNet); writes a series of research briefs (YouthLens); and hosts technical meetings, consultations and e-forums. In addition, FHI 360 develops tools and resources on youth sexual and reproductive health to support evidence-based programs.
