Duration
2005 - 2014

FIELD-Support (Financial Integration, Economic Leveraging, Broad-Based Dissemination and Support) advances the state-of-the-practice in microenterprise development and microfinance and helps U.S. Agency for International Development’s Missions implement innovative, integrated, market-based approaches to sustainable economic growth with poverty reduction. Managed by FHI 360 and its consortium of partners, FIELD-Support fosters opportunities for the poor to connect to small and growing businesses, develop enterprises and create sustainable jobs. In particular, the project focuses on marginalized groups, youth, women and other at-risk populations such as people affected by HIV/AIDS and natural disasters. FIELD-Support works to broaden the reach of the microfinance industry and helps develop more inclusive markets and financial systems for both urban and rural populations. It also facilitates institutional strengthening and policy reform for broad-based economic growth.
