Project

Communication for Change (C-Change) in Nigeria

C-Change is working in Abuja and Cross River and Kogi States to coordinate social and behavior change communication (SBCC) efforts and align SBCC programming with national prevention priorities, as outlined in the National HIV and AIDS Prevention Plan and the National Behavior Change Communication (BCC) Strategy. It is improving the technical capacity of U.S. Government partners, nongovernmental and community- based organizations, and health workers to design and implement evidence-based, community-informed SBCC; expand the use of mass media channels by implementing agencies; and improve mass media support of HIV prevention priorities.
