FHI 360 is a consortium partner on the APHIAplus Northern Arid Lands project. FHI 360 provides technical assistance, mentorship, supportive supervision and operations research to increase the availability of quality, high-impact interventions addressing HIV/AIDS; malaria; family planning and tuberculosis; and maternal, newborn and child health. The project covers the North Rift and North-Eastern provinces of Kenya, an area characterized by remote, nomadic communities with limited access to goods and services. Innovative strategies and integrated services are being developed to address the unique challenges faced by communities in this zone. We also work to increase adoption of healthy behaviors and to ensure that marginalized, poor and underserved groups have access to education, life skills and literacy initiatives.
