Kenya’s APHIAplus project in photos: Advancing quality care for maternal and child health
October 06, 2014
APHIAplus Nuru ya Bonde is improving the lives of mothers, children and their families by expanding HIV testing and counseling, equipping health facilities with prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) services, and strengthening the delivery of services for family planning, reproductive health, malaria and tuberculosis. The project, which works in five counties across Kenya’s southern Rift Valley, strengthens and supports the health of women from before conception to after the birth of a child.
APHIAplus is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and implemented by FHI 360.
