Celebrating 20 years of HIV prevention work in Nepal

July 18, 2013

This year marks the 20th anniversary of a strong partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Nepal in combatting the spread of HIV by implementing interventions that provide care and treatment for those affected.

FHI 360 has helped USAID and the Government of Nepal manage initiatives that streamline and standardize national HIV programs, support community- and home-based care interventions and integrate family planning services into HIV programming. Today, FHI 360 continues to help reduce the transmission and impact of HIV and improve reproductive health among targeted populations through the Saath-Saath project.
